About Anna

I am a Master Herbalist, Nutritionist, and Iridologist with a deep-rooted passion for holistic healing.

I trained with Master Medical Herbalist Helen Begadon at The Irish School of Herbal Medicine – which is associated with the European Herbal and Traditional Medicine Practitioners Association. I am a member of the Irish Association of Master Medical Herbalists (IAMMH) and hold a Licentiate Degree in Master Herbalism.

My own personal healing journey began when I was fifteen, when my appendix ruptured. This traumatic hospital experience was followed by years of anxiety and panic attacks. I had always disliked taking conventional medicine and wouldn’t even take a Paracetamol if I could get away with it. So, refusing to rely on conventional medications, I explored natural and holistic therapies to help cure my chronic anxiety and panic attacks. Over time – and through meditation, nutrition, and herbal medicine – I was able to transform my own mental and physical health. Today, I support others through similar journeys, especially those suffering from anxiety, panic, overwhelm, or emotional imbalance. I truly believe that real wellness comes from a deep connection between body, mind, and spirit – an approach that underpins my practice in medical herbalism.

My interest in meditation also goes back to my teenage years and I always had my head stuck in a self-help book of one sort or another! In my twenties, I spent a number of years living in London and spent a year in Australia. During a two month backpacking trip through Malaysia and Thailand in the late 1990s, I completed my first 10-day silent meditation retreat in Thailand which, although challenging, was amazing. Since then, I have completed a number of retreats around Ireland, including a couple of 10-day silent retreats practising Vipassana Meditation. I continue to practice meditation at home daily. I grew up on a farm and found myself returning to farm life as I got older. I have always loved nature, animals and the freedom that comes with life in the countryside. I am guided by my love of nature, sustainability, and biodiversity and try to rewild where I can; planting native trees, hedging and flowers on the family farm. I grow my own vegetables, herbs, and salads, and share my space with my three dogs, a mischievous cat, and my beloved pet cow!

In my practice, I encourage all my clients to commit to meaningful change. My treatment programme is designed for those seeking lasting improvements in their emotional and physical wellbeing. Through personalised nutrition, herbal support, and lifestyle coaching, I offer compassionate, grounded guidance for those ready to reclaim balance and harmony in their lives. If you are ready to invest in your long-term wellness, I offer a deeply supportive, holistic path forward.
